The Josenart studio designed and crafted the Naida around a single act of material honesty. Rattan — one of the world's most ancient weaving fibres. Which artisans shape by hand into a tapered cone shade whose open lattice weave transforms every bulb into something warm, patterned, and deeply alive. When the light is on, the rattan casts a constellation of golden shadows across the wall behind it. When the light is off. The shade stands as a sculptural object in its own right — textured, earthy, and quietly beautiful. Because each shade is woven by hand, no two Naida sconces are precisely identical. The weave pattern, the warmth of tone, the slight variations in rattan fibre thickness — these are not imperfections. They are the evidence of the human hand, the quality mark that separates a crafted object from a manufactured one. A delicate bead chain finished in Aged Brass defines the signature pull chain. Ending in a solid brass sphere that artisans place weighted and precise at the shade's lower edge. This version highlights the chain and artisans as the active agents.
