With a traditional feel, the thoughtful design of the Hastings Semi-Flush Mount brings unique beauty to your home. In a variety of finishes. The flush mount is made from blown glass and features ribbed details and a band inset for a truly dynamic look. Crafted in the Josenart studio, the Hastings begins with a process unchanged for centuries. A glassblower shapes each globe by breath and hand, coaxing the form into being rather than pressing it into a mould. The result is a hand-blown glass ceiling light whose walls carry the living memory of their making. Subtle variations in thickness and translucency that catch light differently throughout the day, morning to evening, season to season. Horizontal ribs encircle the globe in even rhythm. Interrupted by a sculpted band inset that draws the eye and adds depth without weight. The Antique Brass Hastings Semi-Flush Mount hardware that holds the globe in place is no ordinary finish. It is a living one. Genuine brass, left to evolve naturally through oxidation. Develops a patina that moves from warm gold into richer ambers and earthy browns. Some fixtures fade.
